Austin Hill's Long Walk to Infield Care Center After Last-Lap Crash

Kyle Petty Gives His Hot Take on NASCAR Crash

Austin Hill and Sheldon Creed's Race Ends in Disappointment

Austin Hill's night at Bristol Motor Speedway ended in disappointment after a last-lap crash with teammate Sheldon Creed. Hill was running in the top five when he was clipped by Creed, sending him spinning into the wall. Hill was able to walk away from the crash, but he was taken to the infield care center for evaluation.

Creed, who was battling for the win, spun out after making contact with Hill. Creed was able to continue racing, but he finished 10th. The crash ended the championship hopes of both drivers.

Kyle Petty, who was calling the race for NBC, said that the crash was "unfortunate" and that it was "a shame" that it ended the night for both drivers.

Hill and Creed will both have to wait until next year to try and win the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.
